How much are your massages?

Our prices vary by location and service. We are competitively priced with other therapists in the area who have similar experience and longevity. Please visit our Services and Prices page and contact us with questions.

Most places charge more than that. Why don't you?

We are trying to keep our prices as affordable as possible so everyone can experience the many benefits of massage. We think of massage therapy and bodywork as prevention, not solution.

Prevention, not solution? What does that mean?

That means we encourage our clients to maintain their health and prevent injury and illness, rather than wait until something is aching before they seek massage. We'd rather get a massage and stay healthy than go to the doctor any day!

Where are you located?

In Arlington, VA we are located at 933 N Kenmore Street, Arlington, VA, 22201 about 3 blocks from the VA Square Metro. There is metered parking on surrounding streets. We have chosen this location for easy access from Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. There is an elevator in the building, but the doorways are narrow.

In Park City we come to your home so you can curl up in your robe and relax when we're finished. We'll bring a massage table (with heated pad in winter), music, linens, etc. All we ask of you is a place big enough to work, an electric outlet for the music and heater pad, and perhaps a chair to use if needed.

Is there anything I need to do before you arrive for an in-home massage??

The massage table is about 80” x 32”, so consider where there's room to have it set up with enough space to move all the way around. Also, consider turning on the answering machine and sending kids and pets away so you can fully relax and get the most our of your time. (And it is your time.) We reserve the right to refuse a space that is too small and may cause us injury.

What are the benefits of massage?

Massage can have numerous benefits including relaxing the body, lowering blood pressure, relieving tension headaches, strengthening the immune system, increasing flexibility, reducing chronic pain, improving posture, increasing self-esteem & enhancing body imagine, improving concentration, improving sleep, and decreasing mental strain & anxiety. Who doesn't want a healthier body and life?

How many massages do you do a day?

We generally give no more than 4 hours of massage a day. It’s a good idea to plan ahead when making your appointments. If you schedule a regular recurring appointment, that time will be saved for you.

I know therapists that do 7 or 8 a day. Why don’t you?

We love what we do and want to give each person 100% of our attention and energy. The more massages one does, the harder that can be. Massage is physically demanding work and we want to make sure we are taking care of ourselves as well as providing all our clients the highest quality massage we can. No one should be shortchanged in the massage therapy relationship.

Can you do multiple massages in one visit?

Certainly! We'll just need to know how many and for how long so we can schedule appropriately. And if it's 3 or 4 massages, we might need a few minutes rest to make sure we keep our own bodies healthy. Remember, this is basically a day’s work so call early to make your appointments.

What ages do you work on?

We've worked with clients from 4 to 94 years old. Young children generally can't handle an hour massage, but we can add a nice mini-massage for your child when you're having your session. Each massage is customized to each client, so no worries there.

Are there people who shouldn't have a massage?

There's a type of bodywork for almost everyone, but there are some conditions where massage isn't the best idea. If you think you might have a health issue that would prohibit massage, it's best to check with your doctor and get permission before you make the appointment. For more information on contraindications, please contact us.

I have a cold. Is massage ok?

For everyone's health, if you are not feeling well (flu, cold, fever, “coming down with something”) it is best to reschedule for when you are feeling better. The idea is to help you feel better, not worse. This will also help your therapist stay healthy.

How do I make an appointment?

Simply give us a call (Lorine – 435-602-9379 or Lana – 801-661-0911 ) or e-mail us and we'll find a time that works. Please remember we do have a 24-hour cancellation policy to avoid full charge so make sure you change or cancel your appointment early to avoid being charged for the scheduled session.

email Lorine for appointment
email Lana for appointment

Do you have gift certificates?

Absolutely! We offer gift certificates for massages and couples massage training. Keep them in mind for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, engagements, mother’s/father’s day, Valentine’s Day, or just to say “Thank You.” If you need one for something specific, please ask us.

Do you take insurance?

We do not accept health insurance, but we will happily provide you with an invoice to submit yourself. Just let us know you need one.

How can I pay?

Currently we accept cash and checks. While we've considered accepting credit cards, that would require us to significantly raise our prices.

I'm also wondering…?

If you have any other questions, please contact us! We'll happily help you find the answers.
